Hi, I’m Mary Renée!

I make oil paintings from my studio in Highland Park, Illinois.

After 10 years of studio training across Europe and North America, I look forward to offering my services to locals and the greater Chicago area!

Painting is my passion, and nothing brings me greater joy than creating beautiful and meaningful artwork for others. Portraits that expertly capture the likeness of loved ones, scenes of special events to forever commemorate the day, and creative compositions are my specialties.

I use oil paints for their depth of color and long lasting durability. An oil painting with proper care can last for centuries! As such, I take a lot of pride in my work. Each piece takes around 50-100 hours to complete. It’s an investment for sure, but it always pays out.
